Appearance: Rainpaw is a grey tabby with short fur. His paws are white along with a patch of white on his neck and muzzle that extends in a line a little down his chest. He has black markings and green eyes. His right ear is torn a little from a border fight he was involved in. His belly is also white and his long tail is grey with black rings. He doesn't care much for keeping his fur clean or dry and can often be seen plastered in mud.
Personality: Rainpaw is a very easygoing apprentice. He doesn't like to be the one coming up with ideas, but is always open to helping instigate mischief. He loves to be adventurous and is a fierce fighter. Hunting has never been his strong suit, for while he can move quietly enough, he does not have much patience and gets distracted before he has captured his prey. He is very loyal to those he loves and he rarely thinks of how his actions will affect himself. He would rather die than let those he loves get hurt. He also feels a great need to prove himself to his clan due to experiences from his past.
History: Rainpaw was born into RiverClan. He never knew who his father was and his only litter-mate was a she-kit, who died of greencough when she was 5 moons old. Rainpaw had been very close to her and he took it very hard. He promised himself that he would never let another cat he loved die, if he could help them in anyway. His mother assured him it was not his fault but he didn't really accept that. A few moons after he became an apprentice, his mother disappeared. The rumor in the clan was that she had left to join his father, a loner she had fallen in love with. Rainpaw was shocked; he had always assumed his father was in the clan and just didn't want everyone to know who he was. The betrayal from his mother left Rainpaw desperate to show how loyal he was to the clan and to try even harder in training.
