Sootheart's pelt is his namesake. The soft mass of fluffy fur, predominately a lighter gray, has a tortie pattern. His long fur has persevered through his kithood, despite his mother believing that it was simply kit fluff. Sootheart's pelt keeps his skin from the biting cold. Clumps of fur poke through his toes, acting as a shield from frozen ground, keeping his pads warm unless cold water or snow is involved. If there was snowfall over the night, cats inside the camp would sure know by the time Sootheart returned from a morning hunt. Long belly fur is basically a magnet to the cold clumps of ice and snow, which latch onto his underside and stick until he is able to thoroughly clean himself of the burden.


Much like most forest cats, Sootheart has the sturdy build of a cat that has fought for his life. Since he is still youthful, there are tough muscles that are hidden underneath the mountain that is his pelt. Strong legs and haunches allow for him to be a furious fighter, and give him the stamina needed to hunt during leafbare for hours on end. Despite being born to ShadowClan, Sootheart has the streamline build of a RiverClan cat. Needless to say, this comes in handy when he has to slip through the shadows of his territory. Yet, if it weren't for his obviously non-water resistant pelt, some might mistake him as a RiverClanner. Another thing that gives away his ShadowClan lineage is his large paws, meant for wandering solid ground.


Eyes are typically seen as the doorway to one's soul, but Sootheart's own forest-green eyes are generally guarded. Unless you are a close friend of his, it isn't an easy task to read him. If you only gazed into his eyes, you would assume he was moons older than he is.

Personality:


Most cats Sootheart's age have learned to be fearless, and to feel invincible. This can be the downfall of foolhardy individuals, but can also help in a battle where one's all in demanded. Needless to say, Sootheart doesn't let his wariness stand in the way of preforming for his clan. Yet he is known to second guess himself one too many times. This hasn't led to any severe consequences yet, but a stranger would assume that his heart was not fully in the cause of being a warrior. If push came to shove, he would spare a life even if his leader demanded to end it, cautious of not only his decisions, but of others' rationality.


Soot"heart" earned his warrior name by selflessly dedicating himself to a cause for a friend time and time again. No matter what, if one of his peers were in need and he had the ability to fulfill it, he would give up what he had for them, even if it left him at a disadvantage. In a survival situation, Sootheart would not last long at all, since he would give himself up for anyone who needed it.


As most warriors, Sootheart needed to be courageous to succeed. When he is dedicated to a cause, he can be courageous to no end. Yet this could bite him in the tail in the future, paired with his generous nature, he might just launch himself into a fight he cannot win.
